India Carney can sing. She is in my opinion one of the top singers out there today and her career will be enormous. Her voice has so many levels, colors, and textures. There is a depth to it that takes you over when you watch her sing.
As an opera singer myself, I am always moved when a singer has a true "drama" to them. And India does. When she sings, it captivates you so entirely that you are not sure if you are breathing. I am not kidding. This woman is a top artist. And she was kind enough to respond to my twitter praising her last night, so her head is still on this planet even though her voice transcends you to another place!
Listen and ensure the luster of India Carney:
Think about this singers. What is it about her that pulls you into her story from her first note. I can watch a singer for an entire song giving their all and not feel any connection. India will get you on her first breath. It is an unexplainable ability. You must be born with this touch. Her soul draws you in and locks you while she delivers her song. I am so happy she has been discovered so she can do what she is meant to do.
You know with a presence like hers even if a note was off (which it wasn't), she is so raw in her deliverance of the song and emotion none of it would matter.
India Carney pulls out all the stops in her bid for the Top 12, singing Xtina's "Hurt."
I can't wait to hear everything she does.
